Paige Spiranac’s dig at Greg Norman at the expense of Tom Brady
After Tom Brady returned to football post his short retirement, golfer Paige Spiranac took the opportunity to find something funny in the situation. Spiranac is also a social media influencer and is known to share her thoughts unfiltered.
So, she took a dig at LIV Golf President Greg Norman at the expense of Tom Brady.
“The only thing shorter than Tom Brady’s retirement was Greg Norman’s lead in the 96 Masters,” Spiranac tweeted at the time.

She was referring to Norman’s six-point lead that he surrendered in the 1996 Masters round. Well, she didn’t know, and neither did anybody that this decision will cost Brady his 13-year-old marriage.
The cost of the decision
The decision to come out of retirement proved very costly for Tom Brady. He had to end his marriage with his wife Gisele Bündchen due to his decision to continue playing football. Bündchen was reportedly not happy with this decision, as she thought the quarterback was prioritizing his NFL career over his family. Brady and Bündchen both have confirmed that the couple is indeed in the end zone.
Brady has three children, 15-year-old Jack (from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan), 12-year-old Benjamin, and nine-year-old Vivian. Bündchen acted as the stepmom to Jack, once calling him her bonus child. The couple has reportedly already finalized the joint custody of the three children.

Amid all this, his Tampa Bay Buccaneers are struggling on the field. The team has lost three straight games and has a 3-5 record after eight games. They are second on the NFC South divisional table behind the 4-4 Atlanta Falcons.
If this slump continues, an eighth Super Bowl ring seems like a long shot. The fans want to see the old Brady dictating the play and splitting open the opposing defenses. Anything less than that is lower than the high standards he has set during his career.
