Russell Wilson might have hit new lows in his career. The QB1 went from Seattle to Denver, but the situation did not improve. Wilson suffered a stiff blow in the past games, and the NFL Universe has poured gallons of criticism upon him. However, the Broncos QB1 addressed the entire hate he received by delivering a Winston Churchill classic quote.

The Denver Broncos are delivering a mediocre performance from the offensive side of the ball. The veteran quarterback also failed to impress during the games. Be it against the Seahawks, Colts, or Raiders. His performance and veteran instincts did not click. But Wilson is taking in the hate and implies a quote to make his situation heard by everyone.

 

Russell Wilson tweeted, “If you’re going through hell, keep going. Winston Churchill.” Wilson implies with the former Prime Ministers’ quote he is currently in torment but is still struggling to come out of the experience.

The nine-time Pro Bowl quarterback battled tremendously against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 5 action on Thursday night. He delivered two costly interceptions, leading to the team’s 12-9 overtime blowout. There were a lot of boos at the Empower Field at Mile High during and after the game. The Broncos are currently 2-3 this year and are yet to pull a comeback in the play.

During the post-game media scrum, Russell Wilson blamed himself for the dismal play on his shoulders. He mentioned that the defense gave their all and had some good drives but failed to capitalize upon them. He made sure that it would not happen again.

Russell Wilson might have some troubling games, but he has more issues with his physique. According to ESPN, the Broncos QB battled a partially torn lat near his right shoulder against the Colts and three quarters against the Raiders. Wilson got injured during the Raiders game at the onset of the second quarter. DangeRuss is not likely to require shoulder surgery. However, he would have a treatment to ease pain near his throwing arm.

As per NFL.com, Russell Wilson jetted off to Los Angeles for a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment. According to sources, Wilson hopes that the injection and other treatment from his private healthcare staff can hasten the recovery process.

It is yet to see if Wilson heals up before the Broncos take on the Chargers at the SoFi Stadium.
