Hurts rose to prominence this season after displaying a flawless undefeated streak. On the other hand, Mahomes pulled out the impossible, winning games from difficult situations. All his playoff matchups happened to be a roller coaster ride. However, in the end, it was the KC squad, who came out victorious.

“It can be done. The game has evolved. Times are changing,” Hurts said, per USA Today.“Obviously being part of something so historic and making history. You talk about breaking records and being the first to do this, but I think this is something on a whole different level. A whole different magnitude holds a different type of weight.” he added.
