Will Compton has moved on to the next chapter of his life. Having played college ball at the Univerity of Nebraska, he went on to make his NFL debut with the Washington Redskins. Compton came into the Redskins as an undrafted free agent but soon made his way into the rotations. As an NFL veteran, he also had his fair share of time playing for the Oakland Raiders, Tennessee Titans, and Las Vegas Raiders.

Nowadays, Will Compton is busy hosting the Barstool Sports podcast, Bussin’ With The Boys, along with former Titans offensive tackle Taylor Lewan. And recently, on internet, he posted an “embarrassing” post on Twitter expressing his wish to do a podcast with Joe Rogan.

Compton wants to team up

Compton decided to reach out to podcasting royalty, Joe Rogan. Will Compton took to Twitter to ask Rogan for a podcast together as the NFL community watched silently.

Compton went with a personalized message “Hey brother, We will be in Austin next week performing at Vulcan if you’d like tickets to the show. Our treat. Also – if you’d wanna get together for a pod I’m sure I can move some things around to make it work. Not 100% but I’ll try. Just let me know where your head is at.

NFL fans had a wide range of reactions to this seemingly awkward interaction.

One user felt that Compton just managed to embarrass himself, “My fu*kin god the embarrassment.

While another felt that Compton’s ongoing beef with Theo Von might get in the way of him getting along with Joe Rogan, “It’s a shame you and @TaylorLewan77 are beefing with @TheoVon I know he and @joerogan are pretty tight….

One particular fan went on to make a hilarious remark, “I retweeted it to my 8 followers. You should hear something anytime now.

This Twitter user just went on an epic rant about Joe Rogan not being publicly viewable.

While another went on to appreciate the pitch but felt it wasn’t good enough for Joe Rogan.

With all the varied responses, Compton certainly hopes his message does reach Joe Rogan, and maybe we get to enjoy a collaboration we never expected.

Compton wanting to team up with Joe Rogan makes complete sense, as the man has established himself as one of the pioneers of podcasting. Having worked for the UFC as an interviewer and color commentator, he enjoys a ton of credibility in the sports world winning the MMA MMA Personality of the Year award from 2011 to 2019.

His seemingly unique guests have helped bring about a sense of diversity and inclusivity to his show, racking up millions of views per episode.
