Just days before the Kansas City Chiefs hit the gridiron, a special plan is unfolding. A local organization is stepping up to support them for a mission. Goodwill of Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas has joined forces with the 2× Super Bowl champion Chiefs for the 2023 season kickoff. Goodwill’s mission is all about giving back.
Lynn Harris, the General Manager at the Goodwill on North Oak in Kansas City, initiated this plan last year. A staggering 88 cents of every dollar they make goes towards education, knowledge, and providing employment opportunities. What’s truly heartwarming is that all their services are entirely free.

They’re selling all Chiefs gear, from shirts to towels to jerseys and even luggage. These items were donated over the past year, and now they’re up for sale. The proceeds from this gear sale will help fund a program that focuses on job assistance, placement, and career training to prepare people for the workforce.
