Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has been able to deal with all his critics swiftly throughout his NFL career. But it appears he will be a willing subject of a rough night in his upcoming project with streaming service juggernaut Netflix. The 7-time Super Bowl champion is rumored to be keen on producing and being part of the series.

On Tuesday, Netflix announced that Brady will be featured first in a series of upcoming specials called “Greatest Roasts of All Time: GROAT.” Apart from being the executive producer of the series, his roast is set to tape next year.

There seems to be huge excitement from Netflix’s vice president of stand-up and comedy formats, Robbie Praw, about their upcoming project.

While talking about their new collaboration, Praw jokes, “We can’t wait to burn three-time Super Bowl-losing quarterback Tom Brady, who only went back to the NFL in order to delay this roast.” He talks about how thrilled they are to work with the greatest football player of all time on the GROAT. He believes that Brady will be one of the coolest customers who will be able to take the comedic punches and still come out on top.

Will Tom Brady give more fodder for his upcoming roast in 2023?

The Buccaneers QB will be entering his 23rd NFL campaign in the 2022 NFL season. There is going to be more riding on the outcome of the season for Brady before his upcoming project. While Brady hasn’t been showing any signs of slowing down with every passing month, the roastmasters will be keeping tabs. The 15-time Pro Bowler will be determined to make this another memorable year ahead of taking on the roasters.

Last season, Brady was a man possessed while putting up numbers like 5,316 passing yards, 43 TDs, and 12 INTs. Under him, the Buccaneers’ offense was invincible throughout the regular season and helped him clinch the NFC South division title.

But the absence of key players with injuries gave the franchise plenty to consider and act upon in the postseason.

The Buccaneers fans and Brady will be looking to switch things up in the upcoming NFL campaign in 2022. The organization will hope to prove itself as a legitimate Super Bowl contender from the NFC conference.
