A thirteen-year marriage with retired NFL legend Tom Brady has definitely left its marks on the quarterback’s ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen. His footballing IQ was bound to rub off on the supermodel. At least when it came to discussing the technicalities. The supermodel has also accepted that she grew a liking for the sport afterward. And, it seems she knows a lot about the league an d the game. However, it could have backfired on TB12 as Gisele recently criticized the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Well, not the entire organization. In her interview with Vanity Fair’s Michelle Ruiz this week from Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula, the Brazilian bombshell went after the Bucs’ offensive linemen for failing to protect their quarterback and her ex-husband.

Gisele Bündchen slams the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 2022-23 offensive line
Gisele opened a bunch of cans in her candid Cover Story sit-down. From denying her latest dating rumors to addressing her divorce, the supermodel even apologized for her role in the scandalous FTX fraud case. However, the harsh criticism of the Buccaneers’ O-line certainly came as a surprise. Gisele explained that despite divorcing Brady, she still adored him and actively rooted for the father of her two children.
Tampa Bay crashed out of the wild-card round of the playoffs this year with a 31-14 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. And despite Brady wearing the NFC South crown, the season’s 8-10 losing record didn’t sit well with Gisele.

All because of Brady when he wins, someone else’s fault when he loses.

She’s not wrong. The team was a shell of a one that he won the Super Bowl with.

“It was tough, but you know what? Let’s just be honest. It’s a team sport and you can’t play alone. I think he did great under the circumstances that he had. I mean, he had no offensive line,” she said about the seven-time Super Bowl champion’s pass protection last season.

And Gisele was pretty bang on with her analysis
It’s unclear if Brady discussed the season’s difficulties with his ex-wife or if she did all the research herself. Either way, Bündchen spotted the hole in the wall. Yes, Micah Parsons and the Dallas linebackers made life very difficult in Brady’s ultimate game. However, the problems existed from the very start of the season.

The Bucs were without some key pieces in the offensive line. Center Ryan Jensen was out from his pre-season injury. Alex Cappa had just left for the Cincinnati Bengals. And the troubles only compounded when tackle Tristan Wirfs suffered a season-ending injury against the Cleveland Browns in Week 12.

The remaining O-line did what they could, only allowing their quarterback to get sacked a respectable 22 times last season. And considering Brady retired without a scratch, Gisele should probably go easy on the guys. As of now, Tampa Bay will look to revamp their O-line during this free agency or draft for their newly signed QB Baker Mayfield. But Gisele won’t care about that.
