Brady and Bündchen confirmed their divorce on Friday via social media. The couple addressed their split with individual statements. Both statements followed a similar train of thought and tone.

Brady and Bündchen have both stated that the divorce was amicable. While stating how painful and difficult the decision was, the couple requested privacy during this period. The couple has agreed to take joint custody of their children.

Bündchen, 42, has also stated that her priority was and always will be her children. The model, despite her vast success in the fashion industry, put her career on hold to raise her children.Gisele’s statement said, “We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care, and attention they greatly deserve”

The model also stated that she feels blessed for the time she had with Brady and wished him the best. The couple has been reportedly living separately over the last few months. Bündchen has been spotted spending time with her children and indulging in frequent outings. Brady has been spotted solo at several events.
The couple’s relationship allegedly saw a downward shift when Brady announced his retirement. The star quarterback returned forty days after he said he was retiring from the game to focus on things that matter.
