Girlfriend Brittany Williams Takes the Josh Allen-Patrick Mahomes Rivalry to Social Media During Chiefs Vs. Bills Matchup

Rising NFL star Josh Allen is having a wonderful season for the Buffalo Bills. He helped the team win against the Chiefs in an intense game on Sunday night. Safe to say, Mahomes’ Chiefs and Allen’s Bills have become great rivals in the past couple of years.

On the other hand, Allen’s girlfriend, Brittany Williams, has taken their rivalry to social media. It is worth noting that Williams has been a true supporter of her partner Allen, as they have been in a relationship for a long time.

Earlier, she took to her official Instagram and posted a video of Patrick Mahomes’ pass getting intercepted by Bills’ cornerback Taron Johnson. In that story, she tagged Johnson’s girlfriend, Meg DiMarco, and wrote, “Lfg.”

Incidentally, that play by Johnson was the last nail in the coffin for Mahomes and the Chiefs, as the Bills beat them in their own backyard.

Moreover, Williams posted about another play by her partner Allen on her Instagram as well, which was the main talking point of that game. With 2 minutes remaining in the game and the Bills trailing by 17-20, Allen hurdled Chiefs’ safety Justin Reid to give their team a touchdown opportunity.

The Bills took that opportunity and threw a precise 14-yard touchdown pass to Bills’ tight end Dawson Knox. Allen has been terrific this season, as he threw a total of 1980 yards with 17 touchdowns in just 6 games. Undoubtedly, he has been one of the best quarterbacks this season, along with Patrick Mahomes. 

The Bills vs the Chiefs rivalry is just starting

While Allen’s girlfriend is using Instagram to build this rivalry, Allen and Mahomes have been doing it on the football field. This was their fifth meeting in the last two years. Nine months ago, the Chiefs ended the Bills’ run at the Arrowhead Stadium in the Division Round playoff game.

Safe to say, they took sweet revenge on them on Sunday at the same stadium. Chiefs’ safety, Justin Reid said after the game, “These are the best two teams in football right now… When it comes down to the playoffs, we’re going to end up seeing each other again. The next time we see them, we are going to have a chip on our shoulder.”

Moreover, the Bills are also vying for the top spot in the division to get the home-field advantage, as it will be a massive thing in the playoffs. Currently, they have the best record in the AFC with five wins and one loss. Next week will be off for the Bills; safe to say, they would be pretty happy with the win over the Chiefs before the week off.
