There may finally be some light in the darkness surrounding Aaron Rodgers and his future in the NFL. At this point, the puns are redundant. And fans may be interested to know that there is finally some new development in the talked-about move for the quarterback to the New York Jets.

The ones who read about the recent updates coming out of the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis weren’t too thrilled about it either. With this new report, the Jets can also make things easier for the Green Bay Packers who are looking to finally usher into the Jordan Love era.

The Packers sure hope Aaron Rodgers doesn’t want to come back,” Rich Eisen said about what he overheard at the Scouting Combine. NFL Network and Insider Ian Rapoport retweeted Wengo’s reports, claiming that Rodgers had permission to speak to the Jets or any other team.

Aaron Rodgers is following a similar career trajectory as his predecessor Brett Favre, who also went to the Jets from Green Bay. And some fans thought this is about to be a repeat of the Favre disaster in New York.

How can A-Rod help the Jets?

However, despite no possibility of a reunion with Davante in New York, Aaron still has a shot at the Lombardi with the young and talented Jets core. Instead of Adams, No. 12 will have AP Offensive Rookie of the Year Garrett Wilson catching for him.
