Facing Tom Brady might be a tough challenge for an NFL defensive player. Especially for the ones who lost against his team at the Super Bowl. It is a hard knock feat to rally against Brady and his force. However, Super Bowl 50 MVP, Von Miller, may know the trick on how to knock the NFL GOAT down during the play.

Miller once wrote his experience playing against the Tom Brady-led Patriots in Players Tribune. In that write-up, he also tried to give some football 101 on how to beat New England. When it involves playing against the Patriots, Von called that “getting to Tom Brady is where everything starts.” Safe to say, Von Miller has positioned himself as Superman Brady’s kryptonite.

OLB Miller further mentioned, “Tom doesn’t like to get hit. No quarterback does. So you gotta get to him… a lot. You need two — not one, but two — legit pass-rushing threats on the outside. It’s gotta be a two-sided rush because if it’s just one guy, the offense can shift, slide, double-team, chip — they can take him out of the game.”

Von Miller recalled his “perfect play” against the Patriots when he came from one end, and DeMarcus Ware ran from the opposite. The defensive tackle receives sufficient pressure when D-Ware and Von collide in the backfield, and Brady has no place to run.

Since his arrival with the Denver Broncos, Von Miller has consistently been among the best at his spot. While the OLB is an NFL veteran, he had to understand one thing as the hard truth — Do not talk trash to Tom Brady. Miller spoke to Mike Silver about the Buccaneers vs. Rams NFC Championship game. They were 27-3 and thought they had the game won. But according to Miller, they hit a twist of fate after he trash-talked Brady after a third down play.
