Tom Brady can never be counted out of the game till the clock runs out. He showed that with a dramatic comeback against the New Orleans Saints. But there were some fans who didn’t wait till the end. And one of them was outspoken Hall of Famer Warren Sapp.

Sapp was in attendance of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ week 13 clash with the Saints at the Raymond James Stadium. But he left early and now regrets it.

Unfaithful to Tom Brady

Who wouldn’t have given up anything to be at the Buccaneers’ stadium to see the comeback orchestra conducted by Tom Brady himself. But Pro Football Hall of Famer Warren Sapp was there but left before Brady and Co. mounted a comeback. Speaking on the ‘Rich Eisen Show’, Sapp revealed that he left the stadium with the score at 16-3 in the favor of the Saints.

“I can tell you because I am dead honest with you. That’s when I was walking out of the stadium going to my car. I was getting the hell away from that football field,” Sapp said.

“As I got to the car, some said idiot, you gotta turn the game on. You can drive away but you gotta turn it on. And then I looked down, its 10-16 and two minutes 56 seconds on the clock. I think it’s second down. I’m like we got a shot. I said c’mon boys we gotta take him down. So, we got the sack, and they get Brady back the ball,” Sapp added.

The former Buccaneers DT also revealed a new saying in Tampa, “in Brady we trust”.

After all these years, the fans can only assume that Tom Brady is a sorcerer or a wizard living among the muggles. After Sapp left the stadium, thinking the Buccaneers are a lost cause, Brady orchestrated a dramatic comeback to tell the world that he is still the best there is.
