The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tight End Rob Gronkowski celebrated his 33rd birthday this Saturday. Naturally, the star received lots of appreciation and wishes from all parts of the world. The one which caught the fans’ attention was the message he received from Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady.

On the eve of Gronk’s birthday, Brady wished his long-time buddy. However, he included a cryptic message in the post. He shared a photograph from the 2021 Super Bowl victory and wrote “Getting Bored Yet?”. This message led to many speculations but the tight end was soon to respond. “Do You Want Me To Be Bored?” Gronk wrote by sharing the same post on his Instagram story. This response left the fans more confused.

Moreover, these cryptic questions were difficult for the fans to decipher because the context for this is still unclear. According to a media outlet, Brady could have been asking for Gronk’s weekend plans.

But looking at the current scenario, the Seven-time Super Bowl champion might be asking Gronk if he’s bored outside of the NFL and wishes to return with to Buccaneers. In response, Gronk seemed to ask Brady if he really wanted him back at Tampa Bay.

Ever since Tom Brady announced his un-retirement, fans are waiting to see Rob Gronkowski making a comeback. Most probably this season might become Brady’s final campaign in the NFL. To complete the “Unfinished business,” Gronk’s support will help Brady achieve his eighth title effortlessly.

While talking to the PEOPLE at the rehearsals of Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, Gronkowski broke his silence for the first time. “There’s one thing, if I do play football, though, it would be with the Bucs,” he told the media outlet.

“Just the teammates there that I’m so familiar with and the organization is just A plus. I’ve been in that decision mind for the last couple of months, since the end of the season.” Gronk added to his speech.

The 33-year-old veteran collaborated with Brady two years ago and registered over 1400 yards with 13 touchdowns at Tampa Bay.

According to recent updates shared by Buccaneers’ new head coach Todd Bowles, things are “status quo” regarding Gronk’s future with the team. The franchise had already drafted enough players and signed players, envisioning a steady team surrounding Brady at the quarterback position. Thus, recruiting Gronk again should not destabilize their strategies for the upcoming season. Only time will let us know what’s ahead for Gronk and the Buccaneers.
