The Damar Hamlin incident has shaken the whole football fraternity. Many are pouring their hearts out for the Buffalo Bills’ safety’s recovery. But some takes on the issue are facing intense backlash. And one such take was of an 11-year NFL veteran.

Former linebacker Bart Scott faced severe backlash for his provocative take on Hamlin’s injury, including from the Dallas Cowboys’ Micah Parsons. But he fired back some shots at Parsons and defended his position on social media.

After the Cowboys linebacker, Micah Parsons criticized Bart Scott, the 11-year NFL veteran Bart Scott fired back a response. Accusing Parsons of giving the media the clicks, Scott asked him to share the earlier part of the video. Scott clarified that he had said that nobody was at fault for the situation before going into detail about the tackle itself.

Earlier, Parsons asked why some people speak on national television, a reference to Scott. He went on to say that some people shouldn’t get a seat at the table. “Yoo are we serious?!!?why do we let some people speak on tv?! This was a freak incident but putting fault on another player is wild! They should make some of these guys go over lines or something or not even give them a seat at the table!” Parsons tweeted in direct reference to Scott’s comments.

Scott appeared to blame the Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins for what happened with Hamlin. As much as the fans want a speedy recovery of the Bills’ safety, they surely don’t want the blame to be passed onto another player. Maybe a clarification was all that was required. Hamlin remains critical and the Bills shared a new update about his condition.
