Before the start of the 2022-23 season, Seattle Seahawks traded their star quarterback, Russell Wilson, to the Denver Broncos, for a record $240 million. In return, they received the young American quarterback, Drew Lock. However, Lock did not get into the first team straightway, as The Hawks head coach, Pete Carroll, decided to show faith in Geno Smith.

Safe to say, as Wilson’s replacement Smith did not let his coach down, as he has been outstanding this season, leading in the completion rate. Apart from that, he has outperformed, Russell Wilson, as well. Incidentally, the Broncos have the same record as the Seahawks after four games.
