One of the most iconic rivalries in the annals of NFL history is between Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. The two powerhouses clashed on the gridiron for 15 seasons from 2001 to 2015. Their matchups which included games between Brady’s Patriots and Buccaneers and Manning’s Colts and Broncos, as well as playoffs and AFC championship games left an indelible mark on the fans with Brady emerging as the lead most often.
Despite their on-field rivalry, the duo had shared a cordial relationship off the field and hold each other in high regard. The experiences of playing against each other for over a decade, to the point where Brady believes he could write a book on Manning.

Back in 2021, Brady joined the Manning brothers Eli Manning and Peyton Manning to watch the Monday night football between New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks. During their time together, the trio chatted and joked with Manning playfully remarking about Brady outshining him in records and even taking away some coaches. “Tom, you are taking all my records and you also took all my coaches”, quipped Manning.
“You don’t wanna start, I have more Peyton Manning stories at this point there I could write a book on the amount of all these coaches that, believe me, thought you love you so much. They gave me every bit of story they ever had. So you better start mending some of those relationships back because they’ve given up all the goods”, Brady playfully threatened.

“You’re always at the top of group conversation in our quarterback room just so you guys know”, he added. The interaction between the on-field foes gave a peak into the pair’s off-field camaraderie. Despite poking fun at each other at times as long-standing friends, Brady and Manning consistently showered each other with praise, showcasing a deep respect and admiration for each other.
