Amidst the offseason buzz, the Houston Texans extended Laremy Tunsil’s services in a three-year deal for $75 million, per NFL.com. The agreement also includes $50 million, a fully guaranteed amount. The transaction would keep him in Houston till the end of 2026, making him the highest-paid offensive tackle in the NFL. 

Laremy Tunsil repeated history in 2023 after he struck gold in 2020. He signed a record-breaking $66 million deal, with $50 million guaranteed. He became the NFL’s highest-paid tackle in 2020 and repeated history this year.

The Offensive Tackle went through a rollercoaster ride before his NFL career began. As a number one prospect, the athlete dealt with intense controversy after a video of him smoking pot from a gas mask went viral. It affected his draft count as he tumbled from number one to nineteen when the Miami Dolphins picked him in the first round.
