When it comes to the NFL off-season, teams lose some and gain some. Miami Dolphins have picked some prized possessions as they make moves in free agency. However, in the process, they also lost a pioneer athlete in free agency. The departure was such a shocker that Dolphins star Tyreek Hill could not resist without reacting to it.

Miami had a bolstering offensive lineup with Tyreek Hill, Tua Tagovailoa, Jaylen Waddle, and more. The organization made a steal after getting QB Mike White, CB Jalen Ramsey, and WR/Kicker Braxton Berrios. But Trent Sherfield headed into free agency and is now a member of the Buffalo Bills.

After several franchises targeting WR Trent Sherfield, he joined Josh Allen and the Bills. He recently kept his thoughts after joining the franchise. As per Matt Parrino, Sherfield mentioned, “If you want to be an elite receiver, come and play with an elite quarterback.” The statement left Tyreek Hill in disbelief. The star-WR took to Twitter and said, “He didn’t say that 😒.”

When speculations poured down, the Bills beat reporter clarified that Sherfield’s statement was not a dig toward QB Tua Tagovailoa. On Twitter, he mentioned the WR wished to return to Miami. But the Dolphins had other plans and ‘wanted other athletes to step up.’

If the Bills Mafia is unaware of Trent Sherfield, he was among the Fins’ top WRs in the mix. The athlete was also on the receiving end of Thomas Morstead’s infamous Butt Punt that broke the internet. Interestingly, the moment occurred when the Dolphins faced the Bills in Week 3. But will WR Trent be a benefit to Buffalo?

Miami’s loss is Buffalo’s gain?

It’s no secret that Trent Sherfield rose to prominence over the Butt Punt. But his athletic capabilities are indeed a steal for the Bills. Not just receiving, but WR Sherfield is also a blocker which could be an advantage.

One crucial fact would be that his former teammates are disappointed to see him go. After reaching unrestricted free agency, the wide receiver received questions from Tyreek Hill. Cheetah asked whether he was in. But when the news broke, Hill, among other athletes like Terron Armstead and Jevon Holland, was unhappy to see him go.
