The month of July unleashed one of the biggest blockbusters for the NFL. Netflix produced and released one of the best NFL Documentaries in Quarterback, which stole the fans’ hearts worldwide. The documentary following, Patrick Mahomes, Marcus Mariota, and Kirk Cousins has been a massive success in the first week.

Following the days of appreciation and immense praise for the doc, Netflix sat down to chat with the trio of QBs. In a conversation/interview with the stars of the first edition of the documentary, Mahomes stole the show with his quick thinking and deduction skills.

In a league dependent on one position more than the others, it isn’t hard to figure out that some QBs will be rated higher than others. The Chiefs man understands the predicament very well, and this has helped him recognize the talent of his rivals better than most. In the conversation with Netflix, the trio was asked, who’s the most underrated Quarterback?

Mahomes was the quickest to respond to the question and pointed straight at Cousins. He says, “I think this guy right here. I mean, if you look at Kirk over here man, wins every year, puts up great stats. Did it in Washington, does it in Minnesota. Talk to any other quarterbacks in the league, they’re gonna say the same thing.” Mahomes was backed up by Mariota as he doubled down on the deduction, “I agree with that.”

Both the stars had nothing but respect and admiration for the Vikings man as they heaped praise on him. Following the documentary, the trio have been swept into the spotlight, not just for the access they shared with the fans. But also for the stories that have floated to the top of the room from the previous season.

Behind-the-scenes stories no one could have imagined

The documentary followed the Falcons, the Vikings, and the Chiefs man in relatively equal parts. Following this, the fans got to learn some of the spicy and cutesy moments from their QBs’ lives. One of the spiciest moments revealed was from the Raiders vs Chiefs game and the rivalry between Crosby and Mahomes.

The cute moment from the documentary for the other two would be how much they rely on their wives. Mariota would lean on his wife to help him memorize the practices and plans for the plays on the upcoming weekend. Whereas the fans found out about Cousins’ wardrobe and that it is picked out by his better half every week.

The Netflix documentary did a commendable job of bridging the gap between the fans and their favorite QBs. If future editions of the series are planned, the fans will continue to be drawn closer and closer over time.
