The legendary quarterback Tom Brady is an American darling. Everyone all around the world loves him. Every young kid who plays football wants to grow up and become the next Tom Brady. But it seems like a close associate of the former US President Donald Trump is not a fan of the GOAT.

Donald Trump is a full-blown Brady stan. He is good friends with the quarterback. The former president can be seen tweeting about his favorite player every now and then. For him, no quarterback is greater than Tom Brady. But his running mate and former Vice President Mike Pence is not on the same page. 

Mike Pence is not a fan of Tom Brady

Growing up in Columbus, Indiana, the former Vice President of the United States is a Colts fan who hated Brady. Mike Pence has been a support of the Indianapolis Colts his entire life. Back in the day, when he and Donald Trump were in the office, The Colts and Patriots were in a rivalry. Both the teams hated each other. They were going head to head in some pretty important games.

Tom Brady has always been a deciding factor in those games. When the pressure is high, you know who to count on. Brady has cost the Colts some big games. So it is only natural for Pence to be a Brady hater. Back in 2015, he even made a friendly wager with Gov. Charlie Baker over the AFC championship game. The game, of course, was between the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts. We all know how that game ended. Brady smoked Andrew Luck and company. He was in high gear scoring 3 touchdowns; the Patriots won that game 45-7.

Despite his running mate hating his favorite football player, Donald Trump has always been a huge fan of Tom Brady. Trump has supported the New England Patriots all his life. Back in the 80s, he even briefly tried to purchase the franchise.

Mike Pence hates Brady with all his heart. He would even go as far as to support other teams to watch New England fall. In 2016, he was supporting the Broncos, who had the Colts’ former quarterback Peyton Manning. But this time, the team Pence supported was victorious.
