Odell Beckham Jr is probably one of the best wide receivers out there. When he is in his finest form, he can leave defenders in his wake. His ACL injury during last year’s Super Bowl win has so far left him without a team. But as his recovery looks ever so promising, teams will definitely look to have him on their roster.

OBJ suffered from a torn ACL in 2020 against the Cincinnati Bengals, while he was with the Cleveland Browns. Coincidentally, his second ACL injury during the Super Bowl LVI with the Los Angeles Rams also came against the Bengals. He spent his off-season and most of the opening season recovering from his injury. But, it seems OBJ’s free agency tenure might be coming to an end.

Buffalo Bills’ linebacker Von Miller revealed in a press conference that OBJ plans to visit multiple potential teams and “get the love”.

He is going on tour now. He’s going to the Giants’ practice facility and the Saints, Tampa, and all that stuff ― which you should. You should go around and see the league and get the love. He’s still on (his) Super Bowl tour.”

Speculations about the next team of Odell Beckham Jr

OBJ met with Tom Brady ahead of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ game with the New Orleans Saints. This sparked the speculation that Brady was trying to get OBJ to sign with the Bucs. OBJ has previously, on occasions, expressed his desire to play with Brady, calling him a “big brother”. But whether the Bucs can accommodate him on a receiver corps, that has Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Julio Jones, and Russell Gage, is to be seen.

Even Aaron Rodgers, the Green Bay Packers’ offensive maestro, claimed on the ‘Pat McAfee Show’ that he is on very good terms with OBJ. And it did not help to stifle the speculations when Beckham replied to a tweet by Pat McAfee mentioning Rodgers’ comments. The reply was cryptic and full of emojis, but McAfee’s hilarious interpretations did not leave a lot to the imagination.

Von Miller claims he knows which team OBJ will sign

On the other hand, Miller claims to know when the dust settles, which team OBJ will sign for.

In the press conference, “Just me personally, I mean it’s just the way I like to think. I think when it’s time you know to start you know chopping the block and when it’s time to like get down to business, we already know where he gonna be at. I think I know where he gonna be at.”

Miller’s claim is not entirely a shot in the dark. Even though perceived as a joke (and it probably was), OBJ did tweet about joining the Bills right after they beat the Rams in the season opener.

If Miller’s assumption is correct, or the interpretation of his assumption is correct, the Bills could very well look to strengthen their receiver corps. Sure, it may be a financial headache, but it is certainly worth it to have OBJ play for the Bills.
