His teammates also gave him a unique nickname. It was based on a very popular Disney show, Aladdin. Kaepernick was given the nickname “Jafar.” The character named Jafar was a antagonist in the show Aladdin.

Jafar was the person that sent Aladdin in search of the lamp. Back in 2012, Donte Whitner, the safety of the San Francisco 49ers, revealed that the locker room had given this nickname to their quarterback.
Colin Kaepernick hasn’t been a part of the NFL since 2017. In his short time in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers, he was able to inspire many people. Kap laid the foundation for other athletes to use their platform to highlight issues around the country.

However, all of that turned out to be a baseless rumor. The Raiders didn’t offer any contracts to the former 49ers quarterback. As a result, his pursuit of making a return to the league will continue to go on. His fans were very excited about his return, but it seems like they’ll have to wait a little longer.
