Julian Edelman said, “If you look into the facts of this whole thing, like both teams’ balls were deflated, I mean like there is a witch hunt, full witch hunt. That was ridiculous. What was the Deflategate Scandal, and how was Tom Brady involved in it?

There was an alleged story that the Patriots used to Deflategate their balls prior to the start of the games. This was done to help Tom Brady, as he would be able to have a better grip on smaller and lighter balls.

This came to light in 2014 after the Indianapolis Colts assistant equipment manager Brian Seabrooks and equipment manager Sean Sullivan got the hold of the balls that Brady used to throw.

After getting the intercepted balls in the dugout, they examined them and came to the conclusion that the Patriots were causing serious change to the balls to help their team.
