Former Patriot Believes Tom Brady Has Not Really Retired

Ever since it was announced, the retirement of Tom Brady has taken over the internet. It still does not sit well with many people. Fans still question why did Brady take the decision all of a sudden like this? He had a phenomenal season. The quarterback broke numerous records last year, so why now? 

Brady’s former New England Patriots teammates believe the GOAT is not done just yet. There have also been some theories about the legendary quarterback making a comeback. Some people believe Brady has not closed the door just yet. We could see him calling shots again soon.

Was Tom Brady forced to retire?

As if right now Tom Brady claims he is happy with the decision of retiring from football. In his podcast, Brady always says he will take his next decisions day by day, and nothing is certain for now. In last week’s episode, Brady has not ruled out the possibility of a comeback. When Jim Gray asked him about a potential return, the former QB said, “Never say never.”

The media spoiled Brady’s retirement a day before he announced it. In last week’s episode of ‘Let’s Go!’ Brady has openly shamed the media. But when the reports were made, Brady announced his retirement the next day. Does this mean he was forced to take a step in this direction?

Brady’s former peers believe he is still not done yet

Tom Brady has never said that he is done with football. And he has not ruled out the possibility of a comeback. There is a theory going on about Tom Brady’s retirement post. Brady never mentioned the Patriots once. Maybe it was intentional. You don’t just forget the team that gave you everything. Maybe we could see Brady make a return to New England soon?

Mike Giardi of the NFL Media has talked to some of Brady’s former teammates. Giardi said, “I’ve talked to a couple of people who were with Brady in Foxboro, know him very well, and they said, ‘I don’t believe for a second that he’s done.'” Even Rob Gronkowski, Brady’s longtime teammate, and friend, believes the GOAT will be back in a couple of years. Only Tom Brady knows what goes on in the head of Tom Brady. But with the recent speculations, there is a possibility of a return.
