Former Packers linebacker A. J. Hawk took a dig at his former teammate and friend Aaron Rodgers on the Pat McAfee Show. Hawk made a cheekily comment about Rodgers’ vaccination status that got everyone on the show, including Pat McAfee, laughing.

Pat McAfee shared a clip of this incident on his official Twitter handle where Hawk openly roasted the QB. Hawk is currently an analyst and co-host of the Pat McAfee Show.

Why Did Hawk roast Aaron Rodgers?

Hawk and McAfee were in conversation when McAfee asked the former linebacker about Rodgers, who is the QB of the Green Bay Packers and is scheduled to appear in the exhibition golf game called ‘The Match.’

McAfee mentioned seeing the QB during a promotion of The Match, saying, “Have you chatted with Aaron recently, how’s he doing? Looks like he’s doing great, looks like he’s doing great.”

Hawk responded by saying, “Last time I talked to him, he made a big deal and wanted me to congratulate him because he just got vaccinated. Other than that, I don’t really know what’s going on.”

He jokingly said that Rodgers apparently told him to tell everyone, “I’ve come around guys. Announce it to the world.”

Aaron Rodgers had come under scrutiny from the NFL world when he had mentioned that he had remained unvaccinated.

Hawk’s comment left the host and everyone, at the studio, in fits of laughter. No one expected Hawk to tear into Rodgers this way, as it is well-known that both are close friends.

Hawk jokingly continued while he thought Rodgers’ vaccine was a little late, but it was better late than never. It prompted McAfee to rebuke everyone playfully for laughing at such a serious matter.
