The Green Bay Packers are still looking to solve the problems stopping Aaron Rodgers from committing his future to the franchise. The 2020 NFL MVP is reportedly keen on leaving the franchise.
But with the Packers remaining steadfast regarding their decision to hold on to Rodgers, a trade might not come to fruition. If this is the case then Aaron Rodgers will remain a Packers player in 2021.
The QB though does have the option to sit out the season. In fact, there are rumors that Aaron Rodgers might retire altogether.

A startling possibility but one that many sources seem to fall back on. Keen on becoming the full-time host of game show Jeopardy in the near future, Rodgers could easily call it a day on what has been a Hall of Fame-worthy career.
But is he really going to do that? His former Green Bay Packers teammate and close friend AJ Hawk weighed in.
Aaron Rodgers is not retiring
Appearing on the Pat McAfee Show, Hawk drew everyone’s attention to Aaron Rodgers’ performance in The Match, a charity golf game where he took on fellow NFL QB Tom Brady.

“You saw the match obviously. He wanted to win. You can see that when somebody wants to win… He likes to compete. Does that look like a guy that’s gonna sit out and retire to you? Does not,” said Hawk.
Hawk recently hung out with Aaron Rodgers and spending time with him made him realize that the QB is in a good spot both mentally and physically.

“I think Aaron looks great. He seems mentally in a good spot. He can still sling the ball. I watched him sling the ball a little bit in the water. We were jumping off docks trying to catch balls. But yeah, I feel I think he’s in a great spot right now,” he added.
The Green Bay Packers still have some time on their hands. If they can sort it out before training camp then the whole saga will be slipped under the rug.
