The Tampa Bay Buccaneers left guard Ali Marpet, is having the time of his life. After winning a Super Bowl the year before and then being named a Pro Bowler in 2022 the Bucs’ best lineman walked away from the sport at the age of 28. It was a big surprise to those who thought that his presence in the league will be long-lived.

Just a week later, the guard announced his engagement on Instagram on Friday afternoon. With a priceless NFL career behind and a burst of lively sunshine ahead of him, Marpet looks to explore new horizons of life.

Millions in the bank account and early retirement is still a dream for many but Marpet is living it. His decision to retire came because of his health conditions as per Jenna Laine of ESPN. It was more like a walk into the sunshine for Marpet after being named the Pro Bowler and one of the best guards in the league. After spending just seven seasons with the Bucs, he parted ways with the sport.
