It’s rare to see the NFL community have Jackson Mahomes’ name on their mouths more than his 2x Super Bowl MVP brother, Patrick Mahomes. However, such is the severity of the situation that the younger Mahomes brother finds himself in. Jackson was arrested this week on assault and battery charges stemming from an incident in February. Given the pristine media image his brother maintains, certain NFL players had extremely harsh words for Jackson for tarnishing the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback’s reputation.

Will Compton and Taylor Lewan discussed Jackson Mahomes’ legal troubles in the latest episode of their podcast, ‘Bussin’ with the Boys’. Vividly pointing out the towering differences between the two Mahomes brothers, the Boys have an earnest plea for 22-year-old Jackson.

Jackson Mahomes was booked at the Johnson County Jail in Kansas on Wednesday after he allegedly assaulted Aspen Vaugh, a restaurant owner in Overland Park. The incident that took place in February had been under police investigation. Jackson’s arrest became inevitable after witness testimonies and surveillance footage corroborated the claims. Jackson also shoved a serving staff in the restaurant after wandering into the reserved staff area with his entourage. The social media personality was released on a $100,000 bond.

Former Titans tackle Taylor Lewan and Washington Redskins linebacker Will Compton weighed in heavily against Jackson. “

Motherf——— for the love of God, just stop,” Compton said what he thought Patrick Mahomes must be thinking.

He’s (Jackson) gotta have some respect for his brother. I don’t know how Pat handles that situation behind closed doors. But if I’m Pat, I’m definitely saying something,” 3x Pro Bowler Lewan said.

Brandon Davies, Jackson’s attorney, claimed that his client hadn’t done anything wrong. “Releasing a short clip of any video does not provide proper context. We have faith in the process and look forward to a swift resolution of the matter,” Davies said in a statement to KCTV-5 in March.
