Things might be looking up for Aaron Rodgers after what happened to him in his first game with the Jets. It was a heartbreaking moment for the New York Jets and Rodgers fans especially after he instilled some confidence in the team regarding getting the trophy. Aaron Rodgers’ future and his return to the sport is still dicey.

However, the good news is that Aaron Rodgers has undergone the impending Achilles surgery and seems optimistic about how the surgery went. In the wake of this good news and a successful surgery, Rodgers decided to come on Instagram to give his fans a special message.

Aaron Rodgers’ road to recovery

Aaron Rodgers recently posted a story on Instagram hinting at his return to the field. Of course, this is not going to happen anytime soon, but his optimism has got the attention of the NFL community. He mentions in the Instagram story that his surgery went well, thanking everyone for their love and support. He also thanked Dr. ElAttrache and his staff for taking care of him.

“Surgery went great yesterday. Thank you for all the love and prayers and support. And thanks to the 🐐 Dr. ElAttrache and his staff for starting me on the road to recovery ”, mentions Aaron Rodgers in his Instagram Story.

Dr. ElAttrache is the go-to Orthopedic for a lot of famous athletes. This includes the likes of the late Kobe Bryant in 2013, and the legend Tom Brady, whom he operated on in 2008 after which Brady broke the record in wins by a Quarterback. Dr. ElAttrache doctor has done wonders for Bryant and Brady. It remains to be seen how things turn out for Aaron Rodgers as there is an age factor at play here.

Rodgers and his career with the Jets

Aaron Rodgers might have beat the rumors about his retirement with this message to the NFL community. Or at least reignited a spark of hope for the New York Jets and his fans. Rodgers admitted to FOX in an interview about how happy he was to join the Jets and said that they valued his authenticity. He also mentioned that he wanted to spend the rest of his career with the Jets. It is truly sad how things turned out for him in his first-ever game with the Jets.

The fact that Aaron Rodgers took a pay cut and signed a 2-year $75 million deal with the team shows how committed he was when he decided to join the New York Jets. Unfortunately, he is expected to not participate in the 2023 season at all. Although his career with the Jets was heartbreakingly short, there is still light at the end of the tunnel for Rodgers.
