While speaking on the radio show, the Cowboys’ head coach spoke about their next opponents, the 49ers. At the center of the 49ers is Brock Purdy. 2022’s Mr. Irrelevant has suddenly become relevant after making playoffs with his team. He also said, “His instincts, his awareness, and his confidence. For a young player, he definitely looks very confident. You don’t see a young player making panicked decisions.” It seems like the Cowboys’ head coach might actually be a little scared for his team against Purdy. Purdy has gone on to make 11 touchdown passes and has thrown for 1,374 yards in barely any time. It would make sense for the Cowboys’ HC to be a little intimidated by the young rookie. However, it seems like the young rookie is as humble as he gets when he speaks about himself.

Purdy’s humble words on his own skills
While someone, as credited as Mike McCarthy, might be praising Purdy, it seems like Purdy himself is very humble about his skills. A few days ago, he had spoken about the differences in his skills and that of other great QBs in the league. The 49ers quarterback was very humble and spoke about his shortcomings very openly.
While the young rookie has received praise from all around, the next playoff game is going to be a tough one. Playing an experienced team like the Cowboys is going to be tougher than regular season games. Only time will tell if Brock Purdy is ready to face the challenge.
