After the announcement went public on Twitter, ESPN’s Adam Schefter revealed the tweet he received from Rosenhaus. Gronk’s agent stated, “It would not surprise me if Tom Brady calls him during the season to come back and Rob answers the call. This is just my opinion, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Rob comes back during the season or next season.”

Despite the mixed feelings, the news is significant for the Buccaneers franchise as they look to repeat their 2020 feat. The 2021 season came with its challenges in injuries and misfortune. Brady and his roster are raring to go in 2022 to win the Super Bowl in the upcoming season.
NFL Twitter finds news about Rob Gronkowski unconvincing
The former 2nd-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, Gronk had a stellar NFL career achieving 5 Pro Bowl selections, and 4 All-Pro selections while creating highlight-reel moments. He was part of a formidable partnership with Brady, and his iconic ‘Gronk spike’ celebration will again be back in history. Gronk was for his teammates and coaches a role model on the football field. He was committed to achieving success with hard work and determination over the years.

One NFL fan was questioning the legitimacy of the official announcement of his retirement.
There’s no such thing as retirement in the NFL you just turn down contracts. Is this correct? I remember hearing a story that there’s no paperwork to file, or used to not be.

Of course he’s retired. Training camp is in a month. Then magically a week before the season starts he will “unretire” classic veteran move
