Tom Brady was a Bostonian hero during his Patriots era. The Bostonians kept him in high regard as he brought glory to New England. Just like him, his family also remains on the high grounds, who grew him up as Catholic. The QB’s father reflected on their challenges and blessings as a catholic. Moreover, the entire Church joined to pray for his son and the Patriots to win.

In 2008, Tom Brady Sr. took the podium at St. Anselm’s Church in Sudbury, Massachusetts, and spoke about his faith. He recognized some difficulties of being a Catholic — tolerating Peyton Manning, the Indianapolis Colts, and the vile things on TV and on the news. He also mentioned the blessings, and the Church then united in on mass prayers for their beloved team.

As per WicledLocal.com, the faithful’s mass prayers comprised, “For our favorite football team, the New England Patriots, that they may be strong in faith, confident in hope, and abounding with love for God and neighbor. We pray to the Lord.” As football was close to everyone, everyone prayed for their favorite one.

Reverend Brian Clary made a football reference in the Mass while introducing Brady Sr. He used a quotation from St. Francis de Sales, which fits to Bill Belichick’s approach to the sport.

Tom Brady Sr. once reflected on his hate for an NFC West franchise

QB Tom Brady took the New England Patriots into the island of relevancy and reigned for two decades. Bill Belichick began a new era after picking out TB12 from the 2000 NFL Draft. But Senior Brady also confirms his status as a team hater. During an interview appearance, the quarterback’s father showcased his hate for the LA Rams. It extended from their uniforms and headgear to their athletes.

Brady Sr. mentioned, “I never wanted to see a Rams uniform. I hated the horns on their helmets, I hated their blue and yellow uniforms. So I understand the sentiment that people have with having the Patriots win.” Probably he would have burst in anger after the Rams won the Super Bowl LVI. But his son is back to wreak havoc.
