Patrick Mahomes and his family have had an up-and-down offseason. While Mahomes led the Kansas City Chiefs to their second Super Bowl ring in the last four years, the celebratory period came with its own setbacks. Crippled by personal loss, the Mahomes clan lost an integral member as Mahomes’ grandmother Debbie Martin succumbed to illness. Despite the loss, Mahomes has been attempting to live his best life, but a certain NHL executive reminded him of another adversity knocking at the door.
Jackson Mahomes has landed himself in deep legal trouble. The social media influencer is facing serious allegations of aggravated sexual misconduct, and could potentially land in prison. Citing issues regarding his brother, an executive of the Arizona Coyotes had some harsh words to throw at the Super Bowl MVP.

The upcoming 2023-24 season comes with its share of uncertainties for the Arizona Coyotes. The Phoenix franchise might find itself uprooted from Arizona as the referendum on a new arena stands rejected by the residents. With relocation on the cards, Mahomes had a harmless suggestion for the Coyotes’ future.
The Super Bowl MVP offered that the Coyotes give Kansas City a thought as their next landing destination, and maybe the initials ‘KC’ would help bring the Coyotes back to their former glory. However, Mahomes’ suggestion was not received in the name he intended. Soon, the Director of Social Media at Phoenix Sports, Makayla Perkins, responded in a fairly non-reciprocating manner.

“Maybe you should focus more on keeping your little brother out of jail and less on our NHL team.” expressed Perkins.
Although Mahomes hasn’t responded to the comment, Makayla Perkins clearly took a personal jab at his expense. With Jackson Mahomes landing himself in legal trouble, the Mahomes family has been quite susceptive to similar manners, and so far they have been shutting down the abuses with grace.

The Jackson Mahomes scandal
Earlier a video of Jackson Mahomes forcibly grabbing and kissing a female owner of a club went viral. Since then, the younger Mahomes has been charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of physical assault. The same night the incident happened, Jackson also pushed a 19-year-old waiter at the club.
Mahomes also allegedly asked the owner to not divulge the details and offered to help her out with her business. Soon law enforcement was involved and the owner showed them bruises on her neck while handing over the footage of what exactly transpired. After much turmoil, Jackson Mahomes was arrested and presented in front of a Johnson County court. After a bond of $100000 and some modifications to the agreement, Jackson Mahomes is waiting for a preliminary hearing on August 31st.
