Garrett, the 26-year-old defensive end, entered the building in his Vecna costume. The popular fictional villain from the Netflix show ‘Stranger Things’ was a popular option this year. The player decided to show up at the stadium in his costume. The Browns shared the NFL star’s look before the game. And when the post hit the internet, it garnered a lot of attention from the fans, who seemed to enjoy the player’s effort for the special day.

However, there was a mixed bag when it came to fan reactions. Many fans did not feel that the players were serious enough for the game.

On the other side, there were those who defended the players and their attempt at providing entertainment to others and themselves.
For all the "ohh they can dress up but not focus on the game people". This is a game. Simply meant to entertain. Theres kids that love this stuff and its entertaining to them. Sorry all the joy and fun has been sucked from your souls.

Some were even fearing the result more than the costume itself.
I just want to see it at the presser when they get pumped by 30… it will be one for the ages!

The Halloween miracle
The former AFC champions, the Bengals, were the clear favorites going into the game. But, Cleveland managed a brilliant upset on Monday. They surprised everyone with a dominating win over their visitors. The game ended at 32-13 in favour of the home side. The offense put up a hell of a show for the fans, with a total of 440 yards over their rivals. Nick Chubb was once again instrumental. He scored two touchdowns and rushed for 101 yards. However, it was Amari Cooper with a special performance. He made 5 receptions for 131 yards, averaging 26.2 yards per reception.

But once again, one can not ignore the domination showed by the defense as well. They held Joe Burrow and the Bengals for the first 3 quarters. They only scored 13 in the last quarter. The defense produced 5 sacks and 1 interception while also forcing a loss of the ball by a fumble. And Garrett did put them in the Upside Down. He had 2 total sacks with 4 QB hits as well. It was a definite Halloween miracle for the Browns to assert themselves on to a strong opposition.
