The Colorado season opener against the TCU Horned Frogs is on Saturday, September 2, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas, but it will air on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff at 11:00 AM CT. TCU defeated Colorado, 38-13, in Boulder in last year’s season opener which also marked the first meeting between the programs.
The second game is on Saturday, September 9 against the Nebraska Cornhuskers in Boulder, Colorado. The game will also air on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff at 10:00 AM MT. This will be the renewal of a historic rivalry that dates back to 1898 when Nebraska won 23–10. The last time they played was in 2019 when Colorado won 34-31 in overtime.

The third game between Colorado and Colorado State is scheduled for Saturday, September 16, 2023, in Boulder, Colorado. The game will be televised on ESPN at 8:00 PM MT.
