Mike McCarthy openly praises Odell Beckham Jr. before returning to Green Bay
McCarthy, who coached the Packers team for more than 12 years, recently praised Beckham Jr., while talking highly of his team’s receivers. “We really love our receiver group… I’ve always been a huge fan of his… I’ve just heard so many excellent, excellent things about him,” McCarthy said about OBJ.

A few days back, Jerry Jones talked about Beckham Jr.’s great catching ability and praised him at the same time. “Odell is a player that I admire a lot,” Jones said earlier.
Certainly, both McCarthy’s and Jones’ comments mean that the Cowboys fans believe there is a possible trade for OBJ on the line. Meanwhile, OBJ’s former teammate Von Miller, who is currently playing for the Bills, is still confident about the WR joining his team.
While talking to Pat McAfee, Miller said that he is trying everything possible to get OBJ to sign for the Bills. However, he also talked about prioritizing OBJ’s choice and will feel happy for him wherever he plays.
NFL fans react after McCarthy’s OBJ tease
Meanwhile, after McCarthy’s tease, many NFL fans took to Twitter and posted some hilarious comments. One fan made fun of the Packers and wrote:
Can’t wait for the last second packers deal to sign him and he just goes off next Sunday against the Cowboys

One more fan took a dig at Cowboys’ quarterback Dak Prescott while talking about the OBJ trade.
Dak needs all this to lose?

One Cowboys fan is not going overboard with the trading rumors and also doesn’t have high expectations from OBJ as well.
Ok I know he helped the Rams win a chip, but what are people expecting from him when he returns? He's not a Number 1. Dak has good report with Gallup. And Noah Brown helps with blocking in the run game. Who is OBJ stealing touches from?

Another fan also thinks that Beckham Jr. won’t be the same after coming off a serious knee injury.
People thinking Beckham gonna come in off serious knee injury and not playing for almost a year and actually make a difference. Hilarious

One fan took a dig at the WR for his past comments.
Yeah, it’s all wonderful till he throws the team, Coach, and QB under the bus

Meanwhile, one Cowboys fan took a jab at Jones for hurting their feeling previously.
I can’t get excited, I just can’t. Jerry has hurt me too many times

Right now, OBJ is still without a team as many teams are looking for a wide receiver. However, it will ultimately depend on the WR, and where he wants to play. The Cowboys will be a good option for him, as they are in the playoff race and are currently sitting in the second position in the NFC East division. If Jerry Jones could pull off this trade, it will be one of the best signings of the season, undoubtedly.
