The NFL veteran and Boxing champion has forged one of the most celebrated friendships in the world of sports. The duo’s precious bond hogged the spotlight when the former Boxer offered a hefty pay for Brown’s standing in the league.

Through thick and thin

The duo’s relationship captivated everyone when the Boxer in a daring display of trust for his friend, pledged over $20 Million for Brown. Brown, who has had a turbulent history throughout his NFL career, had a major fallout with his franchise Buccaneers when the WR walked out during a match, eventually leading to his release. While the WR was not sought ahead of the 2022 season and Brown found himself at a crossroads, Mayweather stepped up offering to pay 20 Million dollars if any franchise was to ink the former.

“If they sign AB and AB go through the whole season, no problems at all, and then they gotta give us $20 million. But if he mess up, then we’ve gotta give them $20 million. So if any team want to match that, you know, reach out to us,” he announced publicly at the time.
