“Home is where the heart is”, stands true in the case of Deion Sanders. Coach Prime is very popular these days, especially in his new hometown, the city of Boulder. The former JSU coach left the South and moved on for good. As we’ve seen in the last few games against the TCU No. 17 and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. And why wouldn’t he like it, given all the students and staff’s love and support?

ESPN and FOX have left no stone unturned when it comes to Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes. The fact that the Buffaloes game received such a huge response from the Media and the Students speaks volumes about Sanders’ ability as a coach and his love for the city. But this wasn’t the case before he moved to the city of Boulder with his sons. Hours before the iconic rivalry match against the Colorado State Rams, Coach Prime came forward to admit his love for his newfound home.

The beloved coach appeared in an interview with Pat McAfee hours before the game with the Rams. He admitted that he loved every minute of being in the city of Boulder and coaching the Buffaloes. He didn’t anticipate such a response from the city and the Students of the University of Colorado. In his own words, his experience was ‘electrifying’, and he calls the city his home now.

“I had no idea that Boulder Colorado could be this electric. I didn’t believe it. But you gotta understand I’m a Florida boy from the south, I don’t understand snow and all that stuff, and when I first got here, I was like Oh my God it’s cold out here, but now I absolutely love it 100%. It feels like home.”, said the coach.

McAfee seconded it by saying that everyone in the city appreciated Coach Prime. The coach, in return, presented McAfee with gold ‘Prime Blenders’, his own line of sunglasses in collaboration with the California-based company.

McAfee then pointed out how Coach Prime and himself don’t really fit the norms of a presenter or a coach as an attempt to support Sanders, while taking shots at Jay Norvell after he made some comments about Sanders’ attire and mannerisms.

Well, Coach Prime would respond to this in a cold manner in the game against the Rams, yet again taking it ‘personally’.

The rivalry of the coaches

Recently, Matt Rhule, Head Coach of the Nebraska Cornhuskers made a comment about Deion Sanders’ coaching philosophy and the controversial event at Folsom Field, where the opposition stood over the Buffaloes logo, which Shedeur Sanders took ‘extremely personally’. The team didn’t hesitate to stampede the Cornhuskers, resulting in a 36-14 win.

But it didn’t stop there as Jay Norvell, the HC of the Colorado State Rams made a comment on his hat and sunglasses. Norvell said he takes his hat and glasses off when speaking to grown-ups. Pat McAfee supported Coach Prime saying that all those comments don’t matter if Coach Prime showed love to people and helped them out.

We saw what happened to the Rams in the game against the Buffs. Coach Sanders and the team took the win by a lead of 8 points, making it a hat trick. Now we know that the coach doesn’t take comments like these very lightly. The Buffaloes will be going against Oregon Ducks, who also haven’t lost a regular season game.
