A somber atmosphere engulfed the Bronco Nation as they received distressing news. Recently, the 24-year-old teammate of Russell Wilson revealed his medical condition, sending shockwaves through the team and fans alike. In a touching response, the Denver Broncos QB penned a heartfelt healing message for his teammate, offering support during this difficult time.
K. J. Hamler, the 2020 second-round draft pick from Penn State, has made the heart-wrenching decision to step away from the NFL for some time. This decision comes as a result of a non-football illness, which ultimately led to the Broncos waiving him on Monday. Unfortunately, this is not the first time Hamler has faced medical challenges; in 2021, he suffered a torn ACL, and in 2022, a hamstring injury kept him sidelined for a significant portion of the season. As he began the 2023 season, Hamler experienced yet another setback, marking another crucial medical hurdle in his 23-year career.
