The Buccaneers quarterback has now become a regular guest in the ‘Let’s go’ podcast with Jim Gray. Speaking about his week 1 game on Monday, the passer explained that despite playing the sport for more than 23 seasons and having enough experience, he still feels anxious before the first games of the season.
“I had anxiety and nerves before the first game of the season, and you just feel like, ‘Why are there nerves?’ And why is there anxiety?’ Do you know why? Because you care.” Brady said in the podcast.
He also mentioned that emotions were controlling him more than in the past, but he wants to move step by step, sidelining his personal things. “I’m feeling things more than in the past, for some reason. I’m just really feeling intensely my emotions, and I’ve always had that, but I think when you get close to the end.” The QB added, “And I don’t know exactly where I’m at with that; there’s no decision to be made, but it’s not like I have 10 years left — I definitely don’t have that. All these things, I’m never going to take for granted.” he added before saying that his body has started showing its age.

Nor could he attend the birthdays of people whom he cares about. No funerals, no weddings, and it was all, for one thing, football. In fact, this was the primary issue pointed out when rumors circulated about cracks in his marriage life with Gisele Bündchen.
