Recently, Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce found himself in troubled waters. After making headlines for spiking the Lombardi Trophy during the Kelce jam, the TE received widespread criticism from fans for featuring in the recent ad for Bud Light. This is because the NFL has a rule against players endorsing alcoholic beverages like beer. Even his teammate Patrick Mahomes partnered up with Coors Light, but the creative way of not directly promoting beer led to him finding a loophole in the system.

And now, fans in the league are enraged once again. But this time, it is not because of any endorsement made by the Chiefs players. Recently, one of Mahomes’ teammates went off on a rant against his former team. And this led to fans going into a frenzy over the remark.

Back in 2021, the New York Giants drafted WR Kadarius Toney in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. But Toney was not seen fit to be a part of HC Brian Daboll’s plans, as he injured both his hamstrings in two separate incidents. This led to the WR being benched for practice, which made him unhappy. And after being traded to the Chiefs last season, Kadarius Toney once again lashes at his former team for not trusting him.

In a recent tweet going viral on Twitter, we see the 24-year-old WR opened up about how he does not care that fans of the Giants were talking about him even after joining the Chiefs. He further went on to state that they are mad that he won a Super Bowl ring with the Chiefs last season. And with Juju Smith-Schuster and Mecole Hardman being traded this offseason, the responsibility falls on the shoulders of Toney and Marquez-Valdes-Scantling

And while the tweet is going viral, it has left fans outraged over the statements made by the ex-Giants player.

Fans find Toney’s remarks distasteful in nature

Fans took to social media to criticize Kadarius Toney for speaking against the team that drafted him into the NFL.

One fan commented, “All he did to earn that ring was be traded when he was with the Giants he Never played he was always out”

Another fan compared Kadarius Toney to Antonio Brown, stating “It’s like our own little Antonio Brown without any clout or accolades. It’s almost flattering.”

This fan said, “The guy can barely talk. How we somehow thought he was a 1st rd pick is insane”

Another fan commented, “He is irrelevant. He is not on the Giants. He just won a superbowl with the Chiefs and he is still butt hurt about the Giants. They didn’t care and couldn’t wait to trade him despite the previous regime spending a first on him. They turned him into Darren Waller so its not a loss”

This fan said, “He should close that book. He talks about it, a clear and significant signal that he is still bitter. Focus yourself on playing and less in talking BS… Three plays later with KC but you haven’t done anything yet in the NFL.”
