It was really hard to predict the winner between New York Giants and Carolina Panthers before the match. The reason behind this was simple. Both teams have been shambolic so far; more losses than matches won. Still, the fans expected the Panthers to win owing to their one extra win over the Giants. Sadly for the Panthers fans, New York Giants rolled back time and displayed a dominant performance defeating the Panthers 25-3.

While the match had its highs, none could top the click one-handed catch by Daniel Jones which set fire on Twitter. Jones’ catch was eerily similar to Odell Beckham Jr’s iconic one-handed catch in 2018. This prompted the netizens to call him Daniel ‘Beckham’ Jr instead of Daniel Jones. Offensive coordinator Jason Garrett cranked up some trickery during Sunday’s game against Carolina, which almost went into the fourth quarter with a score of 5-3. Daniel Jones took the snap on 1st-and-10 well inside the opponent’s 50-yard line and threw the ball off to Devin Booker on the counter. Booker flicked the ball to wide receiver Dante Pettis on the sideline.

Jones, meanwhile, made his way down the near sideline. As Pettis went back across the field, he handed a dime to Danny Dimes, who caught the ball and gained 12 yards with one hand pulling the ball towards his body. As soon as Jones caught the ball with one hand, it didn’t take much time for people to equate his feat to Odell Beckham Jr – The King of One-Handed catches in the NFL.
