Some fans came up to show their support for Jackson
Ridiculous argument many team would love to have Lamar pay him. Winning record, mvp with no top receiver beside a tight end be forreal

Good shit Keyshawn. Pay the man or let him get paid elsewhere. I see a holdout if they tag him, different position but getting Earl Thomas/Seahawks vibes when they had issues.

While there were other fans who think that the QB does not deserve a guaranteed contract after a disappointing two seasons compared to other quarterbacks in the game.
Josh Allen last two seasons.

– 5100 yds pass, 1530 rushing, 6600 yards

Lamar relies on his legs (both QBs that played in the Super Bowl are known to use their legs)
Lamar has made bad decisions at critical moments (Josh Allen just had a 3:3 touchdown to int ratio in the the playoffs… Herbert had a 58.1 cmp% in a horrid wildcard loss to the jags)— Jason Nelson (@Jason_Nelson3) February 22, 2023
Furthermore, there were other fans who thought that the injured Lamar Jackson needs to work on his fitness and health first.
I mean to be fair he hasn't done squat since his MVP season. Playoff losses and two unfinished seasons so…
— Mattress L Jackson (@MattressLJakson) February 22, 2023
He doesn’t deserve fully guaranteed. A pay raise, yes but he isn’t gonna get fully guaranteed when he hasn’t played a full season since 2020.
— Jai Shields (@TheJShield) February 22, 2023
He doesn’t? Hes a bad man but He missed the last 5 games of the last 2 seasons. Plus a playoff game. Also his team was 8-3 last year and missed the playoffs because he got hurt.

All in all, while the opinions of many are diverse, it still does not shine a light on what the future looks like for Jackson. When healthy, he continued to play at the top of his game. But fans will remember Jackson’s 2022 season, because of his injury.
A possible journey toward resurrection?

While the Baltimore Ravens still decide on Lamar Jackson’s future, there is no question that he is one of the promising quarterbacks of the game. He is too good of a player for the Ravens to let him go so easily. While the two sides are hopeful of coming to a possible conclusive negotiation, it will all depend on the progress of Jackson’s injury. It may be a downhill road because of unforeseen circumstances, but the likelihood of seeing the 27-year-old QB back in the field is high. Only time will tell how both the team and the player will pave the road.
