Some of his fans asked why the legend resorted to it, while some others were of the opinion that the matter needs to be left alone to the 38-year-old star. Meanwhile, some others got hold of the videos from the game where the Packers QB supposedly used Percocet.

Aaron Rodgers says many other NFL players use Percocet
Incidentally, Percocet belongs to a class of drugs called Analgesics. It is used to treat the symptoms of pain and is used alone or with other medications.
“I played on Percocet. It was more for pain management, so I wasn’t taking any high dosage, but stupid, ultimately,” Rodgers said. Talking about injury management, A-Rod also confirmed that many other players in the NFL also consume Percocet for pain relief.
A 2018 video of Aaron Rodgers doing the rounds on Twitter hints that he was on Percocet. The superstar QB also explained he went into the locker room at halftime with a knee injury. Interestingly, he, later on, came back on the field for the second half.

It seems like the drug was a good painkiller for the quarterback. It also helped him prevent injuries.

As age increases, the body resistivity decreases, and hence players like Rodgers and Brady, who are in the twilight years of their careers, naturally express concern about injuries. It is also noteworthy that proper injury management and pain relief go a long way in maintaining the sporting conduct of a league. Fans would hope that the authorities take a cue from Rodgers’ direct admission.
