Fans and players across sports have been praying for the recovery of Damar Hamlin following his scary collapse in last week’s Bills vs Bengals game. Their prayers have finally been answered as the first visuals of Damar Hamlin since the incident popped up on social media.

Damar is smiling in the recently uploaded images. The images surely brought a smile to millions of fans across the globe. This is the first time fans have been able to see Damar since he was rushed to the hospital last Sunday.

The real heroes in the Damar Hamlin story
Damar Halin sent ripples throughout the sporting world after he collapsed on the field, caused by a cardiac arrest. While many fans have been showing support for the Bills safety over the past week, some fans took out the time to point out the heroes throughout the entire incident. Many thanked and showed their gratitude towards the medical training staff on the field, whose quick response has been hailed across the medical community.
“Mr. Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest on the field and it was promptly recognized by the Buffalo Bills medical staff. And that allowed for very immediate resuscitation on the field. He was promptly resuscitated…” said Dr Kristen Weavers, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at UC Health.

The immediate response and the CPR administered on the field by the Bills medical staff has been said to be key in Hamlin being neurologically sound.
