Former 3X Super Bowl champion Shannon Sharpe is undergoing a phase of transition. The past few weeks have been a time of change for the 55-year-old. Sharpe recently made his exit from the ‘UNDISPUTED’ show as the co-host of Skip Bayless after over half a decade of working together. While the 55-year-old now figures out the next step of his career, he is currently enjoying his free time, while being more of an active social media user and engaging in various activities.

And recently, Sharpe took to social media once again to share another fun-filled experience. This time, the 3x Super Bowl champion made his way to New Orleans to celebrate and be a part of a fun-filled event along with his fans.

Recently, the ex-UNDISPUTED star dropped a cryptic hint of his next move on social media, after stating that he’ll be “back on in the mornings soon.” This could mean that Shannon Sharpe is planning to return to television as his next move. But while his next career step is still unclear, he is using his free time to indulge in other activities as well.

The 55-year-old recently shared an Instagram story where he was seen in New Orleans. Sharpe made his way to New Orleans to host the HBCU Alumni Mixer and Day Party. The Instagram story posted shows the retired 3X Super Bowl champion rocking a blue shirt, white pants, and headphones while interacting with people around him. He wrote in the story, “MEET AND GREET WITH THE @LEPORTIERCOGNAC I HAD TO GET A FAN AROUND MY NECK😂”, maybe because of the heat to make him feel cooler.

Despite becoming more social media savvy, Sharpe also visibly expressed his frustration towards the trolls and memes surrounding his UNDISPUTED exit. And this led to him pondering over exiting social media for good.

The 55-year-old’s exit as Skip Bayless’ co-host has been one filled with mystery. While the actual cause of Sharpe’s exit is still uncertain, many believe that it was because of the on-air feud between the two that got personal at times. And this has led to the birth of many Shannon Sharpe-Skip Bayless memes from the show. The 55-year-old seems visibly frustrated by the trolls after he shared a post on Twitter where the creator used a template from the show to recreate an UNDISPUTED meme. This did not seem to amuse Sharpe, as he wrote, “I’m leaving social media. Y’all stay bothering me🤦🤦🤦🤦”

While Sharpe continues to enjoy his free time, fans will be waiting in anticipation to see what the future holds for him in the coming days ahead.
