“I don’t think age has anything to do with the decline with the entire team and the decline of his play. I just think that not having Davante Adams…We all underestimated the whole situation. It’s just that connection and I think Aaron did the same thing… None of us was in the room and we don’t know who fought for who to keep,” Vick said to Sharpe.

Then, he talked about the current situation of Adams in Las Vegas. It’s a shame in regards to what he (Davante Adams) is going through in Las Vegas right now. Maybe he might circle back to Green Bay in a couple of years,” Vick further added.

Earlier, Sharpe compared Rodgers’ situation with Tom Brady in 2019. According to him, Rodgers needs pieces around him to succeed, as he is getting older. Adams and Rodgers had a great connection. However, Adams went to the Raiders this off-season, which clearly affected Rodgers’ play and the Packers’ season.

The young quarterback, Jordan Love, showed some good plays as backup and could start next week’s game against the Bears if Rodgers doesn’t get fit. Currently, they are on the brink of missing the playoffs with only 4 wins out of 12 games. It will be an impossible task for them to qualify for the playoffs with four games left in the regular season.
