Comparisons among NFL players, especially quarterbacks, are a common occurrence. However, this time an unlikely pairing emerges involving a prominent NFL figure and a political leader. Lamar Jackson and Donald Trump, names seldom uttered together, have found an unusual connection.

As the NFL season gears up for its kickoff on September 7, teams and players set their sights on securing the Lombardi Trophy. Amidst the fervor of competition, the 45th US President directed remarks toward Ravens QB Lamar Jackson. Nevertheless, amidst all this, Jackson holds something in store for his supporters, critics, and perhaps even former President Donald Trump.

This move reflects Jackson’s determination to rise above the noise and focus on his game and his journey forward after Trump’s stature comparison. Moreover, this could also be attributed to a prior instance when he found himself embroiled in a controversy involving the former president.

According to alleged reports, Trump recently turned himself in Georgia on various charges, including conspiracy. The former President posed for a mugshot, being listed as 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds. Interestingly, not only does this weight seem improbable for Trump, but it’s even more peculiar that his measurements are quite similar to NFL players like Lamar Jackson and Tom Brady.

Brady, often hailed as the greatest in the game, has maintained a slender build throughout his career, while Jackson boasts remarkable speed as a natural rusher. Yet, this isn’t the first instance where fans took an awkward jab at these two. Earlier, when Jackson was picked as the final selection in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft, Trump voiced his approval on Twitter. Jackson seemed to appreciate the gesture, although it wasn’t without its share of unease from fans and even his teammate, tackle Ronnie Stanley.
