The Tigers were successful in handing over Alabama their second loss of the season, taking the game toward the final minutes. All thanks to the LSU quarterback, Jayden Daniels, who dared to face the do-or-die situation by going for a two-point conversion.
Not to mention, TE Mason Taylor connected for the pass perfectly and helped the team register a 32-31 win, restricting the game from going into a second overtime. As soon as the final whistle was heard, the Tigers’ fans marched onto the field.

Meanwhile, Alabama coach Nick Saban was busy speaking at the press conference. That’s when the crowd started chanting LSU slogans synchronously. Although Saban looked tired, the veteran tried answering all the media questions amid the loud chatter, creating a disturbance to the session.
The coach also credited the opponents for playing well at the same time, refusing to accept being disappointed after their loss. “It’s a bit of an understatement to say how disappointed our team is. How disappointed we all are” Saban said to the reporters who asked about the locker room atmosphere.
“Our guys really competed hard in the game today. It’s a tough environment, a tough place to play. Gotta give LSU a lot of credit for making the plays that they made when they needed to make them.” He added, analyzing the game in detail.

“No, I wasn’t. But they did, and we played what we would have played in that situation because the next series, you have to go for two.” Saban told the reporters. Alabama will face Ole Miss next game, and certainly, fans can expect a similar thriller from Vaught-Hemingway stadium.
