Bündchen made her way through a bunch of adversities on the way to the top of the industry. On top of that, when she married then-New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, she faced unfair criticism from the NFL fans every time their favorite quarterback suffered a setback.
Gisele’s mantra is simple. And she shared it in length when she wrote her 2018 book, ‘Lessons: My Path To A Meaningful Life’.
“I bring careful attention to the information I take in every day. And how I feed and nourish my own mind…. It’s hard for me to believe that anyone with a happy life would go online for the sole purpose of saying nasty things about someone they don’t know. This is worse than the kids who bullied me in middle school… Happy people have better things to do. My whole life I’ve thought of myself as a happy person,” Bündchen wrote.
She followed the same mantra after her divorce
If a Super Bowl loss brought some criticism for the former Victoria’s Secret supermodel, the pre and post-divorce period was even more brutal. After Tom Brady changed his mind about his first retirement after 40 days, fans couldn’t wait to see no. 12 leading the Buccaneers again. However, Gisele’s stance of prioritizing family, which ultimately led to their separation, brought online haters to her profile.

“If I gave all my attention to the internet or the latest breaking news, the quality of my life would change. And not for the better. My phone would become my focus, and my fear, anxiety, and helplessness would grow,” she explained.
